This picture is me shaking hands with my dog Abe. We brought him home when I was hospitalized 12-13 years ago. He is getting up there in age. He also has many sores/lumps on his body, kind of showing his age. We got him from the humane society, he was a rescue dog and needed a family. Abe isn't the easiest dog to live with. He doesn't really like to walk in a normal fashion. He likes to walk behind you, not in front on you. He also likes to bark at people walking their dogs when he is in our backyard. We buy him expensive and healthy food to best take care of him. Sad to say his is getting to the point where his old age is getting the best of him. All the sores he has, and his back legs are starting to get to him. We might have to put him down sometime in the next few months. I think it is for the best. I will keep you abreast of the situation with Abe. We will miss him deeply. Until next time....
