My wife and I had a couple days off last week so we decided to go on a driving trip. We didn't exactly know where we want to go, so we just took off with some packed bags and started driving. We drove in the Madison direction and then just went south. We ended up in Galena, IL. It looked like part of the Mississippi. My wife knew about Galena and said she had some clients that had gone there. It is like a big Oconomowoc with a bunch of little stores along the Main Street. We did a lot of walking, we ate a bunch of times, that was my favorite, and we had fun walking around. They even had a dispensary for marijuana there. We bought a few things and kept walking and observing. We stayed there a total of 2 nights and 3 days. I would go back in a heart beat. They also had a cool little book store that I really enjoyed. So that was this past Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday.
