I wasn't sure if I should write about this book, but here goes nothing. I have read this book a few times now (2-3 times). The book is written by J. D. Salinger The main character in this book is Holden Caulfield. Salinger is quoted as saying this character is part semi biographical. Holden goes through a lot in this book. He gets kicked out of school for bad grades, he gets in a fight with his roommate, he gets in a fight with a elevator man, and then he visits his teacher, who tries to hit on him.  And in the end hangs out in the rain, while his sister rides the carousel at the Central Park Zoo. It may sound like a crazy story - which it is, but it is a good story. At the end, Holden checks himself into a pysch hospital. I think that is for the best.
